AS is a distance based ffp. Compared to AA which is primarily a revenue based, with different earning rules for other flights like partners.

Thank you for the details. It's too bad WN is great as a LCC but really misses out on for international travelers (and miserable on flights longer than 3 hours, imho). Appreciate your tips.
