Virgin has stated that SkyTeam Elite+ passengers traveling on VS will have access, so I could imagine the D1 Lounge having a bit more exclusive (less crowded) feel. That being said, VS loyalists may prefer the Clubhouse.
Where will the new Clubhouse be located ?

I'll be interested to see if Virgin Atlantic Upper Class guests choose the Delta One Lounge or the new Virgin Clubhouse at LAX when it opens. 10,000+ sq. ft. is still quite quite large, about the size of the FLL Sky Club. The LAX D1 Lounge will be only a tiny bit smaller than the UA Polaris Lounge at LAX (noting they don't allow transcon/GS passengers), and larger than many other regular clubs in the U.S.
I agree 10K a lot of space. Polaris made it feel nice w same space.

I guess someone who needs to use the showers will have to go to the SC.
Are there def no showers? That’s a huge bummer. Especially as the Sky Club ones are not hot enough. Also walking over will be a slight annoyance.
