Well, to the point, I'm just a poor "pre-historic" "Stone Age" guy - I only have Samsung Android, - and Google Pay availability for these cards isn't even offered anywhere in the world I believe. Guess, "we'll have to fight the war with the weapons given to us, whatever they are".

I guess most people who are switching or going to switch (to Amex regular cards = green/gold/platinum) are going to wait and see, and try it out, but already what I see - is that all these providers have a "bad" history/habit of frequently - and I mean once every 3-4 months - changing the terms and conditions of their offerings. I know that for Amex NL the partner card for Platinum will cost an additional EUR100 starting from next year, and the German Amex has seen the removal of Netflix or other digital channel monthly subscription costs (EUR10 a month), as well as restrictions on lounge access to 50 times only (for new members), so Amex everywhere, like Revolut, appears to be changing the T&C of the offerings every 3-4 months. There's unfortunately no "stability" any longer with anybody. At least with Revolut, whenever there's a change, you're allowed to downgrade to the free plan if you do not agree with any of the changes, and if Amex "Belgium" has the "audacity" to change the terms of the boosters (reducing the EUR1/MR3 ratio to a lower ratio/OR inflating the booster cost beyond EUR10 monthly for the succeeding year/OR doing any other action which devalues the benefits significantly), -- then this will be a "red line" for me, and it will be game over.
