Wait a minute here folks.

The OP was traveling in Business Class on AA 107 from LHR to JFK. This was a 777 flight, in other words, the OP was in Business Class on a three-class flight. On these flights AA has never, at least as long as I've been flying them, offered a sundae in Business Class, only the scoop of ice cream.

This is not at all indicative of a cutback. Had the OP been in First Class on this flight, it would be evidence of a cutback.
