Sorry to revive a slightly old thread, but can anyone confirm that the position has not changed i.e. if someone with a BAH flight + car rental booking that qualifies for double tier points completely ignores the car rental element, the double points are still awarded? I feel slightly uncomfortable even contemplating this but it would secure 420 tier points for about £130, so I am tempted! TIA for all responses.
