If there is a delay in London for the take off of BA 1398 will it be possible at the time to contact BA Goldline to ask to be moved to the last flight from Manchester even if it then means travelling economy. Bookings are BAH.
I would seriously consider leaving my luggage in left luggage at lhr t5 and picking it up on my return to lhr rather than risk collect and re check in on a 2 hour flight switch at man.
Are you also on separate tickets when you arrive into lhr before you man flight? That looks even tighter, 16:05 to 16:55, i doubt you will not get your bags to check in 45 mins before departure. If the same ticket on that connection your bag will be checked through to MAN. Can you share your itinerary arrival and departure times in lhr and man, as well as what is same ticket, what is separate ticket?
