Hi all, I was booked to fly from LHR to MAN on Friday eve (BA1406). The flight was ultimately cancelled and then my bag wasn't returned. I've filled in the online form and I know I just have to wait now, but I just have a couple of probably basic questions about the process.
The text and email I had from BA acknowledging the claim have links to two separate websites - worldtracer and a BA missing baggage page. The reference number I have (which starts with LHRBA) is recognised by the worldtracer website but not thr BA one. Why would that be the case? Also, I read somewhere that the status on the missing baggage websites is updated in batches. What does that mean and how often is it done?
