Instead of heading to the Qatar Airways Lounge, I took a leisurely stroll to the opposite end of the terminal. I was curious about the new Plaza Premium Lounge that opened in August. The old lounge next to the Qatar Airways lounges is now closed and has been relocated to the new one. The new lounge is next to the Etihad Lounge, opposite Gate 10. From the Observation Deck at the end, I had a stunning view of the BA hangars and a magnificent Concorde. Surprisingly, there were only two other people besides me. It seems like this place is not well-known or popular.

As I stood on the top of The Observation Deck, I noticed that the planes were departing in the direction towards London. All passengers sitting by the windows had a nice view of the city below. I couldn't resist staying for a while to take in the stunning sight of the planes soaring gracefully through the sky like magnificent birds.

It's an excellent pastime for plane watching or those without lounge access. However, the glass room can get too hot on sunny days.
