I have a confirmed flight LAX-TPE with a 5 hour layover to my confirmed TPE-BKK flight - both in Laurel class. I am also in "waiting" status for an earlier TPE-BKK connection flight. Is this a situation where I won't know whether I can get a seat on the earlier flight until I land in TPE and I "standby" for the earlier connection? Or does Eva process this type of status earlier?
