ORC when partner airline has IRROPs?
Does anyone know AS's policy on ORC when a partner airline has IRROPS and puts you on a non partner airline? Will they provide ORC?
I had a BKK-TPE-SFO flight in JX business class that was paid in cash. The BKK-TPE leg was delayed so JX put us onto China Airlines and refused to provide other options (ironically the CI flight ended up being delayed more than the delayed JX flight). I sent in a request for missing mileage that was ignored so I wrote into customer care. They replied that it doesn't matter what flight was booked since it really just matters what airline / route I actually flew and denied the mileage request. I've always gotten ORC even with IRROPs happen on BA and other OW airlines even if they put us on non-OW airlines, but not sure of most recent policies so wanted to check before I appeal.
