Got it. However, I was under the impression that complaints are typically filed for the specific flight, not the entire journey. The canceled flight in question was ORD-FRA, operated by Lufthansa (LH433). It's odd because, from what I've heard from friends and family, they haven't experienced any issues with other airlines, such as Austrian or LOT Polish. I’m wondering if something has changed recently.
It’s always been full journey.
An XXX-FRA-YYY journey, even within the EU with a 4 hour delay on the first leg where you still made the second leg (long transit time) would not result in compensation.
