I know the Wiki says could go either way (but isn't the scanner supposed to make the call, not the agent?), but curious for any views/experiences for this scenario:

CDG-EWR 28 Sept 340 pm arrival
EWR-MIA 29 Sept 925 am departure

Access at EWR on 29 September? Same PNR, and UA sold it this way (would have taken a flight to MIA on 28 Sept if offered).
