I recently booked a BE ticket PIT-EWR-LHR-IAD-PIT. I booked it through the Chase portal with points. When finishing the booking, I noticed it allowed me to select seats on 3 of the 4 legs. When I went into the UA app, the seats I selected on the Chase portal were still there, and are still there to this day. Is this normal? I know BE isn’t supposed to include seat assignments. Will these seat assignments be honored, or would you expect UA to remove them at some point? My trip is in 4 weeks.
