Hard to tell from the previous posts if anyone has confirmed - but it seems like if I pay for the taxes and fees with my Amex then a reward flight would be covered?
Another wrinkle - I am planning to book HPN->PBI-> Jamaica -> JFK. Will that count as a round trip? Easy for me to argue that it will since I live in Westchester so leaving from and returning to home. But it’s possible that’s a technicality that would rule it out.
