You get half of the seat (and the table) next to you to put your things on. That's very practical. How's having few cm or empty space between your torso and the armrest better? What do you do with that extra space?

There was no such snide, I spoke about "fat people" in general (recognising that I'm one too), mentioning that for most people it's not having more space, just being few cm further from the armrest. But the second half of the sentence makes it clear any debate is pointless - if you believe that Denmark has strong economy thanks to Americans, I can see how you can see the service-less "first" class on US carriers as being better.
