I am not sure you understood what I posted here:I chatted with an AA CSR, she was baffled as to why the PE seats were showing but not bookable.

really? try booking thru Alaska's website using MP miles - there is a $350-1000 extra tax charge on ANY flight transiting LHR on Premium/Business/First travel.
