I don't have any AA cards because I normally fly Delta, but I am taking AA in a couple months and have around 25,000 miles.
If you were me, would you apply for a Barclays card, over Citi, in the hopes that one could always get the bonus on the Citi cards at a later date?
I'm also eligible for small business cards, so any advise is appreciated.
With the merger of Alaska/Hawaiian Airlines, I was contemplating applying for either a personal/business one of the Barclays Hawaiian cards, but don't really see the long-term value of those unless one is planning to spend a considerable amount every year to get the point bonuses.
Barclays can be a pain to get approved for, so I'll have to weigh my options between AA or Hawaiian, or possibly just apply with Citi.
