National (EHI) sometimes issues 2 different contract codes to a company: one for business use and separate one for leisure use by employees. Some companies (particularly those that don't have LDW coverage) don't care if direct employees use the 'business' code for non-business/leisure use. (My employer is one of those companies that doesn't care, as we don't have LDW, so the onus is on the renter, with the company as backup, so if I don't pay, they do, then they term me. Simple enough.)
The question being debated in the last few points is if a company has a separate leisure code, is that separate code ok to pass around to family and friends? And the answer to that is 'what does the contract with EHI say?' (And I can't find my copy of my company's contract with EHI in order to answer the question.)
