Different business models. Shorter flights and more sectors usually per aircraft. Need to have a flexible and moveable "curtain" so that in some sectors they might have only 3 rows in biz and the rest in Y class, or for some routes it might even be 13 rows in biz outbound but only 3 rows in return. Europe and the UK is a fickle market.
