Was having a conversation with a FA on AA 107 this week LHR-JFK in business class. She asked me whether I wanted the scoop of ice cream for dessert. I said no, but asked what happened to the ice cream sundaes with the dinners ervice, the freshly baked cookies before landing? I used to really enjoy those aspects of the in flight experience more than anything else on the flight. She shrugged and said, "Don't know. But it is less work for us, that's for sure" I thought, hmmmmmm, does this explain why AA did away with them? A scoop of Cherry Garcia icecream form Ben&Jerry's doesn't cut if for me. Anyone know the real reason this stuff has been cut?
