Bad news from Frankfurt: the security checkpoints B-Ost and B-West are closed, and all passengers are directed through the checkoint at A. While the checkpoint we used used the modern scanners with 3 trays that can be loaded at a time, there were so few trays that only about 0.25 people could load at the same time, i.e. the limiting factor was the long wait for trays.
Based on the scaffolding in B these changes look (semi-)permanent, and not just a short term bandaid due to lack of staff.
