I believe it is strictly time dependent not destination dependent. If a flight is scheduled to depart before X it get's breakfast, if it's scheduled to depart after X then it gets lunch. They don't seem to factor in much that if you're flight is scheduled to depart at 0950 that there's a good chance that you're likely going to get your 'breakfast' closer to 1130. And god-forbid your 0800 takes a 3hr delay and leaves at 1100, you're now getting your breakfast at 1230 as re-catering isn't in the cards.
Is the YYZ SS even open during what would be considered Breakfast hours given the low number of AC flights leaving from the E gates in the AM?
Maybe someone in the know can update the Wiki with opening hours for both SS's as that's a q that seems to come up often.
