What's the general consensus on when to claim duty of care expenses.

We've suffered disruption on the outbound of a short holiday - knowing that I can claim back expenses from BA, we just booked ourselves the necessary hotel etc.

I assume it's generally recommend to wait until the entire trip is completed, in case of further disruption, and put the claim in then with a single case covering all expenses.

There's no particular advantage to submitting now I assume?

As an aside, a huge thanks to those who put so much effort into this thread. It's only because of resources such as this and FT in general that I'm now able to take disruption largely in my stride and e.g., know when I need to act quickly and when I should pause and reflect on options. It does make travel so much more pleasant.
