Is inventory still PZ4 now? If so you need to find a better agent. Ideally they would just clear you, but you could settle for get the MUA refunded and try again.
If PZ is 0 now, then it's possible there were people on the list already, and something about your request caused the system to clear them and leave you hanging.
In either case, I've never encountered the behaviour you mention — definitely strange.

Called the Premier Line instead of using chat, agent took one look and sorted it out quickly with no further questions, must have just been a hangup in the system.
