If you are on your incoming flight, on WiFi, and have the Flight Board app (or similar), you can check to see if the plane at your arrival gate is showing an on time departure or not. Flight Board shows a replica of the airport monitor with arriving/departing flights, their on-time status, and expected arrival/departure. Other option is to check it as soon as you land and see what’s going on at your arrival gate. At least you can get started on an alternate plan if the plane at that gate is showing a long delay.
