Emerald Elite rental with Enterprise
Sorry if this doesn't belong in this forum but I can't find a dedicated forum for Enterprise. I made an on-line reservation for a compact vehicle at the Enterprise JW Marriott Houston location. On the day of pick up, I received a call from the location and was told there was no car available until the next day. I was offered to be transferred to a nearby Medical Center location as they "might" had vehicles available. However, I was disconnected during the transfer. I then went to the app and self-booked a compact size and received a confirmation email. I then called the Medical Center location and reconfirmed the reservation only to be told that they did not have the vehicle I reserved and if I needed a vehicle, I would be charged additional for a SUV, which i the only vehicle they had. I had a confirmed reservation at both locations for a compact size vehicle. I proceeded to rent from SIXT, which provided me with better quality of service. This experience definitely prevents me from renting from Enterprise again. Both locations had left me scrambling for a vehicle at last-minute.
