Honestly, if you think 10 €/XP to buy status is too much and you don't have time to fly, you are a bit stuck.
You won't get much better deals than 5-7 €/XP anyway when flying, and that will include days of full-time flying in order to get hundreds of XPs.
Figure out how much time and money you want to put on this endeavour, and then go all-in or let it go. For 260 XP, you can't do much better than 2600 € or 1800 € + 5-7 days of intense travel.
Flying long hauls, while more comfortable, will be even more expensive.
