I think it has improved to a degree - but some routes are more prone than others.

I was TGed twice on a same day BKK-SIN-BKK trip in J on 04 Sep!

BKK-SIN: 359 to 789. That was OK.

SIN-BKK: 788 to 772. I didn’t mind the change, and might prefer the 772 for a short day flight.
