apologies I didn’t explain that very well – going via the train, indeed one has to find a member of check-in staff to help but then one is offloaded only very briefly before being scanned back in. The way I went. I was properly offloaded and my seat given to somebody else. As it happened, an aircraft change meant I was then FLUB’d.
