I purchased a Qatar economy ticket N class fare on AlaskaAir.com expecting to get 100% miles flown. The miles posted yesterday but I received only 50%. Contacted CS and was told this is correct because the flight was coded QR flight number and not AS flight number. N class is tabled at 50% on mileage chart. I informed CS agent that the Alaska website states that all flights except saver and basic economy booked on Alaska website are given at least 100% of miles flown regardless of the tabled mileage chart. Agent stated that all economy tickets are deemed to be basic economy so 100% provision is not applicable. I told her that my economy ticket was not basic economy since it allows for seat selection that basic economy does not. I then asked for supervisor who stated that even if I was correct that she has no way to change the results. Am I mistaken or is Alaska not following its written policy?
