As a gold member, I never wait in line and always go straight to my car with info from the board or through the app of where to find my car. Recently, I rented from Orange County airport. Unlike other times at that airport, I was stopped at the desk to answer questions and sign paperwork. Odd. I have another reservation for tomorrow and am being asked to checkin online. Is this new? According to their site, gold members don’t need to checkin. It’s after hours so I can’t get through to Hertz to ask. Really don’t want to check in online with my license and a selfie but don’t want to stop at the desk either. Can anyone help?
