I learned it the hard way with Singapore airlines years ago and it was a business class ticket
I get that, but Singapore Airlines have different pricing for return tickets vs singles, Aegean do not, so it's fair enough.

Aegean got back to me today and offered to refund the segment so I can rebook, thus solving the issue.
