Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Mediterranee during the first week of September 2024, arriving on Monday and checking out on Friday. My WoH Concierge was able to secure a suite upgrade with SUA.

The pre-arrival communication from their Globalist team was superb, but their Globalist welcome was even better! We arrived at around 1:30PM after our flight from Newark to Paris CDG on United and then Paris CDG to Nice on Air France, but with normal check-in being at 3PM, our suite was not yet ready; so the Globalist host provided us with a temporary regular room so that I can take a shower, and for my wife to take a quick nap - this considerate gesture was REALLY appreciated and got our stay in Nice off to a good start!

Shortly after 3:15PM, our Globalist host walked us to our enormous suite, with a long hallway, a large living room + dining room, and a spacious master bath and dressing area. The balcony faced the pool area with partially obstructed sea view looking out and down onto the Promenade des Anglais, but we did not mind. Since we were celebrating (early) my wife's birthday, the GM sent up a bottle of Taittinger Champagne and delicious pastries that my wife loved.

Since we booked the first night with FHR and the other nights were award nights, we decided to dine at their restaurant Le 3E to use the property credit, and we were very pleased (and surprised) at how good the food and the service were (there is so much good food in Nice, so I suppose they need to be competitive).

The Globalist breakfast was taken in the pool area, and we were seated on a table with ocean view regularly - the buffet was fine.

I love the ability to communicate anything that we need or want done with their Globalist/VIP team over email and they responded quickly, and everything was executed flawlessly! Many members of their staff greeted us by name each day, and for a Hyatt Regency, the level of service that we received is on par with the Park Hyatt properties that I have stayed at in the last 5 years! The GM stopped by breakfast to say Hello one morning, and it seems that the way that he runs the hotel is by making sure that every member of the staff from him on down to the valet parking attendant contributed to the outstanding stay that we had.

What a memorable stay and we will be back!
