I am flying YYZ-GRU and GRU-YYZ next month. Both are booked as Latitude with eUpgrades already cleared.
I am considering changing the date of the return flight. If I do that, will I lose my eUpgrade for the outbound flight? (That flight is currently showing no upgrade space available.) My understanding is that the itinerary will need to be repriced and to do that, my upgrade even on the outbound flight will first need to be released. I will only get it back if I get lucky and releasing my upgrade leads to R1. Can someone confirm?
An incompetent agent might take away the upgrade.
A competent agent, or the online system, will keep it intact.
