What do they do for people with a digital boarding pass? Just write it down? Print a boarding pass so they have something to take half of (can they even do this with the outage)?
I'm sure that airlines have a contingency plan when systems go down. The manual collection of printed boarding passes is one, as for digital BP, they may probably write it down. There are other ways to get the passenger list but might be time consuming.
