Almost 10 years ago I moved to the UK for 1-2 years…

I stuck with Qantas that whole time and found it relatively easy to maintain QF Platinum status with regular trips between Australia and the UK in business class.

In hindsight I probably would’ve been better switching to BA to aim for lifetime gold which is much easier to reach on BA than with QF.
