Just curious--since I fly only about 6-8 times a year, and I've never flown Alaska Air...the way I read your post, it sounds like the $50 change fee for Alaska is a flat fee, and you wouldn't have to pay any fare increase (assuming there's an applicable fare increase) when you change your itinerary. Is that correct? If so, what a deal!
