Hey all!

I have a friend who has just been rebooked to fly from MEX to EWR on UA, connecting to LX to ZRH today. If I am not mistaken, UA will arrive in Terminal C and luggage will have to be collected and rechecked. However, I am wondering if the bags can be dropped at the baggage recheck counter directly in Terminal C or if he has to carry them over to via AirTrain to Terminal B. Given that the MEX flight is delayed, this might make all the difference if he will be able to drop bags before the bag-drop deadline. Any advise and insight is appreciated!
