Do I actually have the option of asking to pickup my luggage if I have a stoppover for 23.5 hours? Is that something TK allows? I'd feel more comfortable re-checking the luggage rather than having it laying around at the airport for 24 hours and losing it. I am flying ORD-IST-BKK. The reason I am nervous about about it because I have another flight to HKT where there's no interline agreement with the other airline.
