Why are so many AA codeshares being cancelled?
I appreciate that BA fly to a lot of places in the US direct, but when they don't I need to connect onto AA.
I have now had 3 flights in 3 months where the AA connecting flight has been cancelled. And that has meant either going a day earlier if it is on the outbound, or staying an extra day in the US if it is on the return, and in all 3 cases having to book airport hotels. My US trips used to be fairly efficient, but as flights get cancelled, that is no longer the case.
Is there less effort in ensuring decent codeshares for those connecting, or have i just been unfortunate?
