What was good and what was bad?

GOOD
- Lovely service from all staff
- The suite is comfortable
- I had the opportunity to have a complete tour of the hotel with an explanation of Marcel Wanders' design choices.
- Very good breakfast.
- Pleasant spa (but unfortunately with no pool, only a plunge pool, and no natural light).
- Very pleasant rooftop bar with an impressive panoramic view.
- Shared bike station just next to the hotel.

BAD
- Nothing

Value for $ or IHG One Rewards Club? Would you return?
The hotel is really pleasant: located on the edge of the historic part of the city, it makes it easy to explore the surrounding area on foot or by bike (the hotel is a 20-minute walk from Parliament, 25 minutes from the Castle and 15 minutes from the very pleasant Széllkapu park). The area is becoming more and more trendy with a series of cool restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity.

I'm not a big fan of Marcel Wanders' work, whose language often overwhelms architecture with gimmicks rather than sublimating it. But here, his work is quite interesting (excluding the useless and kitsch deer statue in the lobby or the statues outside).

Definitely a very good option in Budapest (especially as the InterContinental, in a perfect location, has still not begun its renovation).
