Hi, yes I stayed there for 3 nights and already had 2 sets of clients stay there in the first month of opening

it’s one of the most stunning properties. The location is fantastic and Fuschl lake simply beautiful. You can just sit by the See Club for hours and take in the views. The hotel has clearly spent a lot of money in the renovations and it shows. The interiors are beautiful and quality is top notch.

I would return, and Im thinking of heading there again late Nov for their christmas markets

here’s what I liked
- as I said, location is stunning. You can go for boating, or swim in the lake. Plenty to do around the lake including hikes
- Food at the property is good. In all three restaurants we tried we enjoyed the food.
- The daily activities are amazing and a great way to interact with other guests. On the first day we did a boating tour of the lake with their head concierge which included champagne and canapes. The next day we did a hike nearby including lunch in a hut
-lots of acitivities nearby. Its a 30min drive to Salzburg. You can also visit nearby towns like Haldstatt, St Gilgen, Altersee etc
- Spa and indoor pool is amazing. If the weather is good, then the separate heated pool is a nice place to relax
- Rooms are really spacious and well done. We were in the Junior Suite with a huge terrace. Quality is high-end as well

what they really need to work on
- Service is abysmal. By the third we just gave up and we were laughing about it. No communication between the different departments. Staff cant anticipate needs. Clearly never worked in a luxury hotel before so dont have the finesse. Get overwhelmed when the hotel is busy. So many guests we interacted gave the same feedback. Management is aware and this is their top priority.
- The room categories are odd. You need to choose carefully. Work with your TA on this. The three buildings have different views and slightly different layout. We were upgraded to a Deluxe Lakeview Suite and downgraded ourselves to Junior Suite as we liked the layout better. The Suite is in the attic and dark.
- they need to stop charging for stupid stuff like bottle of water by the See Club and overnight car park fees. Its just silly.

In summary, as I said, I will return primarily for the location and the hardware. Service needs a lot of refinement. If you can get past the service issues then you should plan to go asap. During winter theyll have plenty of christmas activities. Prices are going to increase considerably next summer onwards

I will write a detailed article on my website but in the meantime if you have any questions then let me know.

Sharing a fee photos but I have 1000s more
