Do NOT ask your physician - they are generally blithely clueless about such things or able only to parrot marketing drivel a drug rep has fed them. Ask a knowledgeable pharmacist. Be sure to ask what are the consequences of brief times outside the specified temp range - for many temp sensitive meds, it may be no reduction in potency/effectiveness rather lessened duration of shelf life.
And do NOT put any medication in checked baggage - ever.
If the medication in truly essential to maintain at a specified temp range you may need to bear the burden of an extra item to lug aboard - such medical items are exempt from carry on restrictions, BTW.
