I recently flew AA nonstop from CLT to LAX on one of the A321neo, in first class. I must say, it was the most uncomfortable first class seat I have ever sat in. Maybe I didn’t notice the uncomfortableness in the past as they may were more than likely shorter trips. You can literally feel the metal bar in the seat back as it pushing into your spine. Hardly any padding at all. Future trips that distance may have to be with another carrier as those seats are way to uncomfortable for a 5 hours flight.
