Thanks bhai. My missus once got upgraded to EY F apartment 8 years ago when EY had full butler service in F and EY had A380 service from AUH-MEL. The bar was set pretty high, so now I hope we get the new champagne cabin on EK. It will be my first time IA in F, so looking forward to it. As I’ve gotten older, I am less impressed with tech and I instead notice things like colour scheme and materials finishing, layout, storage space, amenities and service standard - ie we are more discerning, so I will be slightly disappointed not to experience the newest seats. Fwp, I know! The retrofitted F is definitely a marked evolution from the classic scheme.

I feel the 777 ‘Game Changer’ implementation on the A380 would have been the icing on the cake - Curtains, darker wood trim, defined rectangular mirror. The aesthetic is more evolved compared to the A380 retrofit. For a first class offering it would compete well with executive jet interiors.

EY has had its run of troubled times, so I get why they no longer have butler service, however that made the whole EY A380 F product top of class back in the day. Missus can’t forget the lobster bisque she had on EY F class - their offering was way more premium. Let’s see how much EK can meet those standards set years ago.
