I'm wondering if there are any negative repercussions or rules against transferring my balance on my Amex Gold to another credit card (not Amex), shortly after hitting my 6k spend for 100k points? I've already received the bonus, just trying to figure out if Amex will do anything if instead of paying it off directly, I transfer most of the balance to another card?

I don't know if I need to get into the weeds as to why, but I had to make a large unexpected purchase in one transaction, far past the 6k spend. I have more than enough cash to cover it, but I have another unknown-exactly-as-to-how-much-but very large purchase coming up that I can't put on credit cards, and I'm thinking of doing a balance transfer to 0% card to keep my cash free until how I see the other purchase plays out. (Ok, yes, it's hopefully a home purchase that's coming up.)

Any ideas if I'll be fine doing the balance transfer or will my 100k points be pulled back?
