Retired United Captain Denny Flanagan asked me to update everyone on the Captain Jason Dahl Scholarship Fund fundraising efforts. Capt. Jason Dahl died on Sept. 11, 2001 after United flight 93 was hijacked by terrorists. It was the only one of the four hijacked planes that didn’t reach its intended target, instead crashing in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania after passengers and crew overwhelmed the four hijackers.
