New EU carryon size limits.
Just doing the conversion from cm to inches, the new regulations about carry on size gave me pause. 55x40x20cm works out to 21.65x15.75x7.89. I can deal with the height and width, but no carryon bag I have ever had, or can find, falls within the 7.87 inch limit.

Has anyone had experience with this ex-EU since September 1? My go to bag is 20x14x9 and is smaller than most. Just wondering how strict they are with this new deal. (Flying AF out of CDG next month for reference.)
