After you clear departures passport controls, you can clearly see the arrivals passport control area through a glass wall on the left side. In plain view, there is a monitor with the flight numbers that qualify connecting passengers to use those booths.

Don't LHR (clean) and BKK (unclean) arriving pax get funneled to two different immigration facilities? The one that LHR arrivals use is mixed with transit pax who would benefit from the monitor.
