Charging a client for a rate that is higher than the flex rate so that you can pocket additional points is excessive and unethical. This would be a breach of the ethics codes for quite a few professional organizations, if a client were to discover this it could file a complaint with hotscot’s professional organization that could result in disciplinary action and/or sue him over it for over billing. This has happened with lawyers and accountants in the US and elsewhere.
I've been from one side of this planet to the other. I've seen a lot of crazy stuff - but this is right up there.
